We offer, and aim for, high academic standards but we know and understand that every child has different starting points. We work on the principles of ‘keep up’, rather than ‘catch up’ to help ensure no child gets left behind in their learning. Through this principle we offer pre-teach and mop-up sessions daily around our core curriculum areas to support those children who may require it. We also value the whole curriculum and foster a love of outdoor learning. Above all, our aim is to nurture independent learners who are enthused with a love of learning and the desire to make the very most of their abilities and opportunities, preparing them for their next school and, indeed, life beyond that.
