Choosing a primary school for your child is a hugely important decision. If you have any questions that we can help answer, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Admissions to the Foundation Class at Brize Norton Primary School are managed by Oxfordshire County Council. We have 20 places each year in our Foundation class, for children who will turn five during the academic year.

If you wish to make a Reception application for your child, key dates can be found here and information about making the application through Oxfordshire County Council can be found here. School's policies can be found below - we last consulted on our Admissions Policy in Jan 2024.

We also have a few places in other year groups for children moving into the area or transferring from other schools; contact the school to find out what places are available and to arrange a tour. These places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, you need to fill in the In-Year Application Form at the bottom of this page and return it to the school office.

Children with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan naming Brize Norton Primary School will always be offered places.

If you apply and are unsuccessful, you are welcome to appeal. Please see the Oxfordshire County Council website for full details on appeals which can be found here. Appeals are managed by the school's governing body.
