We had lots of smiling faces and achievements at our session. Having ‘rescued’ some old planks of wood from the skip, the children found them and used them (along with a tyre and an old pole) to make a see-saw; fantastic engineering!!
We had several activities to inspire the children to have a go at whittling - and it worked! We were super busy showing them how to hold and use the knife safely so they could whittle a friendly gnome!!
As the temperatures continue to drop, we thought about our feathered friends and made fat ball feeders to hang in the garden.
