Our Year 5 and 6 children spent 3 days in Wales camping with the hope of climbing Mount Snowdon.  Sadly, the weather wasn't on our side so they were unable to climb; however, they had a lovely day exploring the local area. They walked up from Capel Curig to Clogwyn Mawr 347m (translates to ‘big cliff’ in welsh - and mountain to us!!). Then they walked back to Capel Curig via the Snowdonia Slate Trail to look at the waterfall on the Afon (river) Llugwy behind the famous outdoor shop Joe Brown.  A wonderful experience for our children which was thoroughly enjoyed.  This is a residential that we offer every other year, to ensure all our children have the opportunity.  Fingers crossed that the weather will be on our side in 2028!
